A Poem I Wrote Shortly After Anna Died November 19th, 2004

Blessed pain so bittersweet,

When most I hurt, she's nearer me.

Pain, of aching, empty night,

Sweet, the mem'ry of her light.

Jesus, heal my broken heart,

Fuse that which is torn apart.

Vapor swiftly flowing by,

Soon we'll meet with you on high.

  5. Every time I read this, it brings back a bit of the emotions that I felt when Anna first left us to spend eternity in Paradise with Jesus. There's always that taste of pain that accompanies the longing to see her again, but at the same time, the sweet reality that she simply went to a place where one day we will all be reunited! :) Thanks for sharing Daddy.
    I love you,

  7. Kyle my son,...this poem is straight from your broken heart and yet it holds hope as well as heartache.
Our Anna is more alive in heaven than any of us here on earth. And we know we all will join her one day and know then what she knows now! What Glory that will be!
Thanks for sharing your heart with us.
    Love You,
    Mom/Linda
